After a hugely successful event in 2023, Head in the Clouds is returning home once again for the latest event in New York this May. 88Rising’s cornerstone festival will take place at Forest Hills Stadium on May 11 and 12 and boasts a heavyweight lineup of familiar faces to the HITC family.
There are a few returning performers from last year’s event- including Spence Lee, Warren Hue and Atarashi Gakko!- but it’s the newcomers that caught the attention of fans looking to make the trek to Queens. Saturday has the festival’s first appearance by K-pop group (G)I-DLE while Sunday will be headlined by arena crooner Joji. Check out our preview of this spring’s hottest festival!
What to Bring
HITC attendees will want to be prepared for two days of being outdoors- and in the case of last year’s unexpected rainstorm- all weather should be considered. While umbrellas and blankets are prohibited, fans are encouraged to bring ponchos in case of inclement weather and jackets and hats to protect from the sun as well. Keep in mind that no outside snacks or drinks are allowed but the festival does have an impressive lineup of vendors to keep everyone fed and hydrated all weekend.

Who to See
(G)I-DLE and Joji will undoubtedly bring in huge crowds of diehard fans, but don’t miss out on the other amazing artists on this lineup! From Illenium’s B2B set with Dabin to the indie rock stylings of Wave to Earth, day one has something for everyone’s tastes. Balming Tiger is there to bring the energy as well, along with the festival debut of Young Posse.
Day two has plenty of hip hop and dancing- from BiBi’s NYC debut to Deb Never’s brash stage presence and Lyn Lapid’s calmer vibes, this is the perfect collection of artists leading up to Joji’s headlining performance to close out the weekend.
Tickets for Head in the Clouds NYC are still available for weekend passes, single day passes and VIP- don’t miss your chance to party amongst the stars in Forest Hills this May!
