R&B standout Eric Bellinger made his way back to Arizona for his Around the World Tour to party with a hyped up crowd at the Nile Theater last week. Fans were ready to dance the night away at the historic venue and Bellinger made sure both his vocals and his style were on point for a show that turned the club up on a weeknight.
Pop songstress Dom Belli strutted onstage in a neon headdress and swirling bodysuit for a set that was swaggering and sensual in turns. The audience warmed up by dancing along as she brought a dash of soul to the evening’s festivities.
Eric Bellinger made the most of the Nile’s stage with minimal production so he could show off his dancers and his own smooth moves. Emerging through a haze of fog and decked out in a deep red suit, he jumped right into “Special” and “Shooting Star”. The mostly female audience reacted with the energy of fangirl days past and sang along to every hit Bellinger pulled from his discography.
The set was brief but very satisfying for the audience- with several outfit changes and backup from two talented dancers to augment the performance throughout. Bellinger is undoubtedly a star onstage with soaring vocals and charisma to spare. After romancing the audience for an hour, he closed the early night with “I Don’t Want Her” and “G.O.A.T.”, sending fans home exhausted and thrilled with the setlist.
