Decadence AZ 2024: The Age of Indulgence celebrates 10 years of the biggest party in EDM

Arizona’s most iconic electronic music festival celebrated a decade of dance by ringing in 2025 at the Phoenix Raceway this week. This year’s theme of Age of Indulgence encouraged ravers of all persuasions to enjoy the party to the fullest and bring in a new year in a shower of confetti and the heaviest of bass. Atlas jumped in the pit for both days and we’re bringing you the best moments of Decadence AZ!

Day One- AZ warms up for NYE with Monday night rager

Fans got their feet wet at night one as the pregame for New Year’s Eve. The Royal Ballroom stage and the Grand Palace stage both boasted huge crowds as colorfully clad attendees chased their preferred bass levels all night long. The Royal Ballroom focused on heavier dubstep as the carefully constructed canopy vibrated with the deep frequencies of Wooli, Svdden Death and more.

Over at the Grand Palace, Troyboi was a favorite of the night as his intense red visuals and high energy beats pumped up the audience for over an hour. Every DJ had plenty of time to show off their mixes, including the B2B No Redemption set from Tchami and Malaa.

For fans looking for a break from the beats, there was plenty to do in the surrounding areas. The Quiet Quarters stage had a killer lineup for their silent disco party and The Bazaar offered plenty of local wares and DJs all night long. Attendees bundled up against the December chill and munched on a plethora of festival snacks and drinks to fuel the throughout the long night.

The Grand Palace closed out with amazing back to back sets from Deadmau5, Dom Dolla and Excision- a power trio of major EDM that made day one an event to remember.

Day Two- Counting down to 2025 with John Summit, Dog Eat Dog, more

Thousands of excited fans poured onto the Raceway grounds for the second day of Decadence and Wednesday was even more special with the planned countdown to the new year. The crowd moved in waves between the two main stages and the bass from the Royal Ballroom could be felt across the lot. The duo of ARMNHMR turned up the heat as midnight inched closer and their set had a massive audience meandering from the Grand Palace.

Both stages hosted their own countdowns, with Crankdat and Riot Ten hosting the B2B of Dog Eat Dog. Revelers looking for something lighter were showered in a snowstorm of white confetti as the clock struck midnight and John Summit dropped the beat into a brand new year. The joy emanating from the audience was palpable and visible on the faces of both the fans and Summit as his set carried on.

Atlas’s night came to a close with San Diego genre-melding DJ ISOxo and his mix of electronic and rock elements. The party was just starting for much of the crowd as they carried their euphoric energy into 2025. ISOxo encouraged everyone to mosh and jump along as he hopped up on his DJ table to keep the hype going.

It’s been a full 10 years of Decadence AZ and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. The Age of Indulgence brought some of the biggest names in EDM to Phoenix and they’re already planning next year’s incredible event- we’re excited to see who will be ringing in 2026 in the desert.
