Korn is celebrating 30 years with as much sentimentality as they can muster on their current North American tour. Joined on the road by Gojira, this lineup brought the noise to Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre for a sold out show.
Gojira dropped the hammer with their lengthy set, including flashy pyrotechnics and onstage LED graphics. The band frequently visits Arizona and the fans show up every time, knowing that the show will be top tier.
Korn made use of the entire stage- including screens on the ceiling- to bombard the audience with lights, swirling graphics and all the songs they came to hear. Clad in a bright red tracksuit, singer Jonathan Davis put his heart into the performance that culminated in the classic “Freak on a Leash”.
