Gallery: Noahfinnce’s Growing Up on the Internet Tour takes over Walter Studios

Young fans flocked to downtown Phoenix this week for a chance to see Noahfinnce’s Growing Up on the Internet Tour take over the new Walter Studios. The British performer was joined by Teenage Joans for an evening of fun for every demographic represented in the room.

Aussie duo Teenage Joans took the stage on a mission and their chaotic energy kicked things off perfectly. They’d just come from a day of adventuring at Roswell and rocked their alien-themed merch proudly as they blasted through a cover of the Scooby Doo theme song to start their set. The band bantered with their audience as they served up both original songs from their latest album and a punk rock rendition of Carly Rae Jepson’s “Call Me Maybe”.

Headliner Noahfinnce rarely makes his way to the States so Tuesday’s show was certainly a special occasion for all the kids who crowded up close to the stage. His energy was infectious from the beginning, eliciting plenty of cheers and singing along to “Weirdos”, “Rise and Grind” and “Scumbag”. He even left the stage with his guitarist to run around the room and dance on the comically large chairs set up at the back- to the sheer delight of the audience.

With such positive energy present in the room, the fans’ promise to return when Noahfinnce makes his way back across the pond will certainly be kept- and fans are hoping for sooner rather than later.
