Hailing from the UK and making a laidback return to Arizona, The Charlatans visited The Van Buren this week for a show that had the crowd fully immersed in their nostalgia.
The group took the stage promptly on Tuesday night, bathing the venue in blue lights and the vibes of their critically acclaimed 1992 album Between 10th and 11th. It was a special evening, as the band ran through the record in full, drawing up plenty of happy memories for both the guys onstage and the fans in the audience.
One barricade attendee shouted between songs that he’d caught The Charlatans back in 1992 and the group laughed, saying that they’re still playing the album from back then. It was an evening of smiles, warm energy and a chance to revisit a formative album for so many in the room.
