Show Review: Sleeping with Sirens sells out The Nile on album promo tour

Sleeping with Sirens is on their grind this year, touring incessantly but always bringing the same killer energy to every show. The scene staples once again visited Arizona on a more intimate tour to promote their latest album, Complete Collapse.

The Nile was sold out and the pit was roiling as the band took the stage to “Break Me Down” and “Kick Me” (a thematic start to the night). Surprisingly, very few songs from the new album made the setlist cut, but with songs that hit as hard as “Crosses” and “Bloody Knuckles”, the fans got more than a taste of the record’s energy.

Singer Kellin Quinn’s rafter-clearing vocals took center stage- especially on classics like “Roger Rabbit” and the much loved cover of The Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris”. Of course, the band demanded that the pit keep moving and made things easy on “Go Go Go”.

Closing with “Do It Now Remember It Later”, we knew it wasn’t the end and of course they came back out for a two song encore. One thing’s for sure- Arizona can certainly hang and they never want to see the door at the end of the night.

Sleeping with Sirens could play the same set a million times and the fans would show up and show out every single time. At this point, we’ll be right there with them as these shows are simply too much fun to miss. There’s no promise to return these days- both the band and the fans know that everyone will be back together always sooner rather than later.
