The Driver Era emerged from the ashes of R5 with Ross Lynch and Rocky Lynch reinventing themselves as stirring pop-rock artists. With several years and plenty of music safely under their belts, the duo is back on the road on the ultimate summer vibes tour.
The brothers Lynch recently released “Malibu”, a sunkissed, meandering pop tune that invokes a summer roadtrip on expired film. The California heat drenches the tune and the band has been bringing it to packed shows all month long.
With many of the summer shows already sold out, audiences still can’t get enough of their energy- and the band delivers every time. “Malibu” is already on repeat and The Driver Era is following up with their third album, Summer Mixtape, out September 16.
We’ve seen the clips from the shows so far and the anticipation in every city to finally get up close and personal with Ross and Rocky is palpable in each video. Joined by Summer Salt and Almost Monday, The Driver Era is visiting Arizona’s Marquee Theatre on August 29- and it’s a show that’s not to be missed.
