Gallery: MISSIO light up Tempe Marketplace for airy outdoor show

After an incredible performance earlier this year, MISSIO made their return to Arizona with a free weekend show at Tempe Marketplace. The Austin duo is still touring for their latest album, The Darker the Weather // The Better the Man, but brought a fresh setlist that included old favorites that they said they haven’t played in awhile.

Local acts rx Soul and Luna Aura rounded out the bill, bringing new takes on retro sounds to the District stage: rx Soul describes his project as neo-soul meets neo-R&B, while Luna Aura recently changed her tune from Los Angeles pop to “bratty” 90s alternative.

The self-proclaimed MISSIO Mafia ate it all up, and Atlas caught the action. Check out our photos of the night below!
