Gallery: Oso Oso brings first headlining tour to The Rebel Lounge

Oso Oso may be the best band you’ve never heard of- until now. The indie-rock group took over The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix for a energetic show full of good vibes.

Local sadboys Adult Feelings opened the night. Slick riffs and three-part harmonies carried a stellar set that included songs from the band’s latest EP. The crowd definitely liked what they heard, cheering and, in many cases, singing along to start the evening.

Future Teens made us all cry at the gig with their Breakup Season jams. Started as a joke, this band is so much more than their sardonic humor- their lyrics also carry a weight that landed squarely on their audience. We laughed, we cried, and we didn’t want them to go. They were followed by The Sidekicks, who jolted everyone back with their high energy. The band made sure to have the room clapping and dancing before the main event.

Oso Oso has steadily worked their way up, opening for bands like Citizen and Knuckle Puck, to their first headlining tour. The band put their dedicated fans firmly in their feels, playing songs from their latest album, basking in the glow. With each album, Oso Oso cements their status as indie-rock royalty and they’re sure to be playing to much larger audiences soon enough.
