Gallery: 311, Dirty Heads and more fill Phoenix with perfect summer vibes

Summertime was made for the combined vibes of 311 and Dirty Heads. Both bands visited Arizona’s Ak-Chin Pavilion, along with The Interrupters, Dreamers and Bikini Trill.

The balmy summer air perfectly complemented the lineup, with the efforts of Dreamers and The Interrupters getting the early crowd dancing in their seats. Dreamers’ younger audience screamed their lungs out for the colorful trio and The Interrupters’ girl power ska attitude won over the whole venue.

Dirty Heads lit up the stage with huge production, including video screens. The band played all their hits and the audience was thriving. They continued for over an hour and the only thing keeping the fans happy was the arrival of 311 to close the night.

311 has built a strong career with their incredible rock-reggae sound. The entire band plays with an ease and swagger that young bands should strive for. Arizona has always been a solid stop for them and the diehards showed out to jam with their favorites. Amber was indeed the color of the energy in Arizona as the bands and fans danced and swayed into the night.
