Gallery: Local Natives showcase major growth at packed Brooklyn Steel show

Much like their listening audience, Local Natives has grown up a lot since their debut album, Gorilla Manor. Look no further than their latest album Violet Street and a sold out Thursday night show at Brooklyn Steel.

The LA-based indie pop group transitioned their latest airy yet driving tunes to the stage well. Lead singer Taylor Rice said it early, “We’re playing the old stuff”. Flowing from early hits on Gorilla Manor to current track “When Am I Gonna Lose You”, the show rarely had a quiet moment.
