The mighty Slayer kicked off the fifth leg of their final world tour in Phoenix last week. Joined by Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth and Lamb of God, Arizona metalheads came out of the woodwork to celebrate the band’s legendary career.

True to form, Slayer’s production was nearly overwhelming, flooding a packed Ak-Chin Pavilion with red light and plenty of pyrotechnics. The band rocked through 20 songs spanning every era and the diehard fans knew every word.

Check out photos from the show and don’t miss the remaining dates of Slayer’s final tour!
