Gallery: Don Broco and Periphery at the Artificial Selection Tour in Phoenix

The Artificial Selection Tour, featuring Dance Gavin Dance, Periphery, Don Broco, Hail the Sun and Covet, rolled through Arizona on Wednesday. Atlas caught Don Broco and Periphery as they brought their monstrous energy to The Van Buren.

Don Broco, a quartet of multi-talented Brits, is undoubtedly the weirdest band in modern rock, but they also put on the most consistently amazing live show. Their brief set spanned their equally brief discography, but their djent-dance-rock sound had the packed room moving.

Periphery was a change of pace for the evening, their heavier sound getting the audience to jump and bang their heads. Vocalist Spencer Sotelo apologized early, saying that he’d been sick. The crowd rose to the occasion, assisting the band with their singing.
