“Ticketfly Goes Offline To Recover From Digital Attack”

Users claimed that they began noticing odd things on the site around 9PM PST.

“IShAkDz” is the name of the hacker taking credit for the attack. Before Ticketfly went offline, the hacker left a message.

“Your security down, I’m not sorry. Next time I will publish database.”

Along with his statement, he left an email address containing a spreadsheet with over 4,000 users’ information. The hacker demanded a ransom payment of one bitcoin (currently worth $7,544) but there is no word on a negotiation at this time.

Ticketfly later issued an official statement on Twitter.
